Same Day Problem Appointments

Our patients of all ages benefit from the accessibility of our services within the familiar surroundings of our office provided by our caring, compassionate staff that they know and trust. However, if additional diagnostic tests or in-hospital services that are outside the scope of our office are required, Mobile Ob-Gyn’s location at USA Health Providence Medical Office Plaza provides easy access to USA Health Providence Hospital.

Frequently Asked Questions

USA Health’s Providence Hospital is our primary hospital affiliation. We also have an affiliation with Spring Hill Medical Center for special circumstances. 

If a prescription refill is needed, please call your pharmacist to determine if an authorized refill is available.

If a refill is not available, please call our office during office hours at 251-633-0793. Prescriptions and refills are issued Monday through Friday, late mornings and early afternoons.

Headaches:

Regular strength Tylenol, 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours
Do NOT take Aspirin, Aleve, or Ibuprofen

Colds:

Robitussin DM, Chloroseptic spray, Hall lozenges,
Sudafed, Dristan Nasal Spray, Claritin D, Benadryl

Nausea/
Vomiting:

Small, frequent snacks of bland food
Drink fluids between meals
Vitamin B6 tablets, Ginger, Emetrol, Unisom

Constipation:

Increase fluids and fiber in your diet
Increase your exercise
Metamucil, Colace, Milk of Magnesia

Heartburn:

Small, frequent bland meals
Do not lie down immediately after eating
Tums, Pepcid, Zantac

Hemorrhoids:

Try to prevent constipation
Tucks Medicated Pads, Anusol suppositories,
Preparation H

Leg Cramps:
 

Increase your fluids
Stretch or walk before bedtime
Avoid lying on your back

There have been some recent studies released to the media that maybe confusing. Our physicians continue to recommend the same (unchanged) guidelines as recommended by the American Cancer Society for screening mammograms. We strongly recommend annual mammograms beginning at age 40.
